Othello Trip November 2025

Last weekend, the English Literature A Level students were taken to London’s West End to see a production of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’.  Here, they saw David Hare playing Othello’s character, with Toby Jones playing Iago, and Caitlin Fitzgerald playing Desdemona as well as Vinette Robinson playing Emilia.  As promised, this production did not disappoint and the students gained so much from seeing this performance. On top of seeing the play taken from the page to the stage, the students and teachers were in absolute awe of the iconic London Christmas lights in all their glory.  It was a brilliant trip, and we thank everyone involved.
