CURRICULUM INTENT
The study of French will broaden students’ horizons. Students will learn to develop language skills through the study of four set topic areas which will be covered during the 2-year course. They will develop a wide range of vocabulary and accurate grammar.
The course will also expand their knowledge and expand their interest in contemporary French culture. They will be able to read French magazines, newspapers and websites, and understand contemporary spoken French from TV and radio. If you are an enthusiastic linguist, this course is for you.

In the space underneath, you will find specific information related to this subject. As Key Stage 5 specifications change, it is possible that the course being offered to Year 12 is different to that being studied in Year 13.
