Maths (GCSE Re-sit)
Students who fail to achieve a Grade 4 in Maths are able to apply to study a Maths GCSE re-sit. In order to progress onto a series of Level 3 courses (A Levels, L3 BTEC, Cambridge Technicals, T Levels etc.), students will need to achieve a Grade 4 in both Maths and English.
Students study a condensed version of their GCSE Maths course in advance of a November re-sit opportunity in Year 12. Students follow the same course of study as they did in Key Stage 4, however this is taught over more lessons a fortnight and over a shorter period of time.
Please view the GCSE Maths page for information about students will study when re-sitting GCSE Maths.
