Box Clever Theatre Perform 'A Christmas Carol'

On the 10 November 2025 Hedingham School hosted our annual theatrical event of the adaptation of Dickens' atmospheric 'A Christmas Carol'.

Through a theatre company called Box Clever, they depicted a characteristic cocktail of textual accuracy, fun, lively action, music and audience participation. Equally, they helped to educate, involve and inspire our GCSE students. It was great to see so many of them engaging with the actors and taking on key roles of the characters.

As the actors brought to life Scrooge: squeezing, wrenching, grasping, hard and sharp as flint, the students joined him on on the journey that he is forced to make through his past, present and future until laughter and goodness replaces the ice in his heart.

We are particularly proud of the students for their engagement with this activity and a huge thank you to Box Clever for bringing the novel to life.
