Jack Petchey

  • June 2013

Congratulations to Jack Edwards; he is the Jack Petchey Award Winner for June.

Jack was nominated because he represented Hedingham School on the ‘Hedingham Project’ working with primary aged children from Years 1-6. He worked all day with a wide range of pupils. However, in particular, he showed amazing empathy with a boy with severe learning difficulties. He was patient, kind and respectful of the other pupil’s needs and an extremely positive relationship between the two developed over the day.

The school received comments from the leader of the ‘Hedingham Project’ and Primary School staff as to how impressed they were by Jack’s work. Two members of Hedingham staff also witnessed the situation – it was truly impressive.

Mr. Panayi presented Jack with a Certificate, Badge and Cheque on Thursday 27 June 2013.

    Very Well Done Jack!
